Baked Ravioli Casserole

Creamy, cozy weeknight comfort

This creamy Baked Ravioli Casserole brings together tender cheese ravioli, velvety Alfredo sauce, and melty mozzarella for the easiest comfort meal you can slide into the oven on a busy night. Using frozen ravioli and store-bought sauce keeps prep to a minimum, while spinach and sundried tomatoes add a fresh, flavorful twist perfect for family dinners or last-minute hosting. If you love warm, cheesy pasta bakes with minimal effort, this one-pan dish will become a reliable weeknight favorite.

  • Prep: 10 mins
  • Cook: 20 mins

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (25-ounce) package frozen cheese ravioli
  • 3 1/2 cups store-bought Alfredo sauce
  • 1 pound smoked turkey sausage, cooked and sliced
  • 3 cups baby spinach
  • 1/2 cup chopped marinated sundried tomatoes
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, divided

  1. Prep: Lightly grease a 3-quart baking dish and slice the smoked turkey sausage; preheat the oven to 350°F. Multitask by gathering cheeses while the oven heats.
  2. Mix or sauté: Warm the sausage briefly in a skillet until fragrant and lightly browned.
  3. Cook or bake: Spread 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce in the dish. Layer with half the ravioli, then sausage, spinach, and sundried tomatoes. Add 1 1/2 cups sauce and half the cheeses. Top with remaining ravioli, sauce, and cheeses. Bake covered 45 minutes, then uncover for the last 15 minutes until bubbly.
  4. Finish: Let rest 10 minutes so the layers set; serve warm and creamy.

  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight glass container for up to 4 days.
  • Subs: Swap spinach for kale, Alfredo for light cream sauce, or mozzarella for provolone.
  • Meal Prep: Assemble the casserole a day ahead; bake when ready. Freezes well for up to 3 months.
  • Serving: Top with fresh basil, cracked pepper, or a drizzle of pesto.

This baked ravioli casserole works so well because it layers rich Alfredo sauce with soft, cheesy ravioli and hearty smoked turkey sausage to create a complete comfort meal with almost no prep. It’s the kind of cozy, family-friendly dinner busy moms love because everything bakes together in one dish.

The key technique here is layering much like a lasagna so every bite has creaminess, pasta, vegetables, and cheese. Make sure the top is fully covered with sauce and cheese to prevent dry edges.

The sundried tomatoes add brightness and a hint of sweetness, while spinach melts into the sauce for extra nutrients without overpowering the dish. The smoked turkey sausage brings savory depth without the heaviness of pork.

Because most ingredients are store-bought and pre-cooked, this recipe fits beautifully into a busy weeknight. Assembly takes minutes and the oven does the rest.

If you’re planning ahead, the casserole can be assembled and refrigerated or frozen for easy reheating perfect for hectic schedules or comforting meals after long days.

  • Chicken Alfredo Ravioli Bake: Swap turkey sausage for diced rotisserie chicken for a lighter, quicker protein boost.
  • Spicy Tomato Ravioli Bake: Add red pepper flakes and replace half the Alfredo with marinara for a zesty, brighter flavor.
  • Air Fryer Mini Ravioli Cups: Layer small ravioli, sauce, and cheese in silicone muffin cups; air fry for fast, kid-friendly servings.

This creamy, comforting baked ravioli casserole is the kind of simple meal that makes weeknights feel easier. Save it, share it, and come back to it anytime you need a warm, no-stress dinner your whole family will love.
